SOGAV Valve: Function, Inspection and Maintenance
A SOGAV is a solenoid-operated gas admission valve used in gas or dual-fuel engine applications to control gas admission. Inspection focuses on electrical response, leakage, contamination, seating condition, connector integrity, and maker-approved functional testing.
What does a SOGAV valve do?
The valve opens and closes in response to control commands so the engine receives gas at the required timing and quantity. The exact application depends on engine design and gas admission architecture.
