Cylinder Liner Inspection: Wear, Ovality and Taper Explained

Cylinder liner inspection measures bore wear at multiple heights and directions to assess wear, ovality, and taper. Visual inspection also checks scuffing, corrosion, cracks, cloverleaf wear, surface finish, and lubrication condition before deciding whether honing, continued use, or replacement is appropriate.
